Border security and surveillance is a 24/7 operation that can't afford downtime or periods of reduced readiness. Guarding against illegal immigration, smuggling, and terrorism demands reliable long-range threat detection and positive identification of potential threats all day, all night, and in all conditions.
Border Security Surveillance System has been developed to carry out all weather surveillance & to monitor the border area. It consists of Battle Field Surveillance Radar (BFSR) & EO payload (consists of day camera, eye-safe LRF & MWIR TI, DMC & GPS) mounted on the pan-tilt unit kept at the observation tower.
BFSR-XR: 10 Km (Light Vehicle); 08Km (Gp of Person)
BFSR-SR is a lightweight, man- portable battery-powered electronic short range battlefield surveillance radar to provide all- weather surveillance against intrusion. The radar is capable of searching a specified sector and track by scanning for multiple targets. The radar detects, tracks, and aids in classifying the moving targets. The entire radar system is carried by two soldiers and operated on a tripod. The radar is compact and weighs about 27 kg (packed in two modules; each weighing not more than 15 kg) and can be set up within six minute to match the speed and requirements of the users.
Day Camera: 12 Km (Light Vehicle); 10Km (Gp of Person)
A Day night camera can see in very low light conditions without the assistance of infrared illuminators. A day/night camera is ideal in low light, but if the cameras environment changes to complete darkness you will need an infrared camera that uses LED infrared lights built into the camera to see at night.
Thermal Camera: 10 Km (Light Vehicle); 08Km (Gp of Person)
A thermal imaging camera (colloquially known as a TIC) is a type of the thermographic camera used in firefighting. By rendering infrared radiation as visible light, such cameras allow firefighters to see areas of heat through smoke, darkness, or heat-permeable barriers.

Most infrared (IR) sensors, for example, are EO systems. In the popularly used term “EO/IR,” the EO is typically used to mean visible or laser systems.
Integrated De-icing and De-fogging module & Security camera
The invention concerns a system for deicing and/or defogging an aircraft surface comprising: a temperature sensor located proximate said surface and adapted to generate a temperature information; a computer adapted to generate a control information based on the temperature information and to transmit the control information over a computer network of the aircraft; an electric power supply system located in the electrical center of the aircraft and comprising a switch adapted to be switched based on the control information; a heating element located proximate said surface and electrically powered via said switch. The invention also concerns a method for controlling such a system.
